A 15-Minute Skincare Ritual That Will Make Your Oily Or Acne-Prone Skin Crystal Clear Naturally! |

If you have acne-prone skin, sleeping with a clear face at night and waking up with an angry zit is nothing new. The overprotective sebaceous glands can make you wonder often, what’s actually going on. Fortunately, you can make things right by getting sebum production under control with the help of an effective skincare routine. A skincare ritual incorporating TOXIN-FREE skincare staples can completely change the way your oily or acne-prone skin looks and feels. Keep swiping to discover the skincare ritual that can keep your oily/acne-prone skin healthy and happy.

Skincare Ritual For Oily Or Acne-Prone Skin

This 4-step skincare ritual is a wondrous way to clear things up if you have oily or acne-prone skin. As this regimen involves natural and ZERO TOXIN skincare actives, it is 100% safe and effective.

Step #1: Cleanse With Salicylic Acid

Salicylic acid is a blessing for teens and tweens with oily or acne-prone skin. Chemically known as ‘2-Hydroxybenzoic acid’, salicylic acid regulates sebum secretion and combats acne flare-ups. It cleanses oily skin without clogging the pores, making skin cleansing a breeze. If you have a predisposition to having acne or get unwanted oil on your face, having a salicylic acid cleanser in your repertoire can turn the corner for you. You can try Super Smelly’s ‘Goodbye Acne Face Wash’ – the best natural face wash for oily skin that has the brilliance of salicylic acid, aloe gel, green tea, neem, cucumber, and tea tree oil. Something that also does amazingly well as face wash for combination skin!

Try double-cleansing after waking up in the morning. For this, clean your facial skin with a mild cleanser like aloe vera and follow with salicylic acid face wash.

Step #2: Tone With Witch Hazel Or Aloe Vera

Gone are the days when toners used to be so harsh on the skin. Thankfully, individuals with sensitive skin can now rejoice as there are a plethora of toners on the beauty counters that are gentle yet effective. If you have breakouts or super sensitive skin, use a toner with cucumber or aloe vera as these skincare actives are immensely soothing. If unwanted oil production is your concern, use a witch hazel toner.

Step #3: Slather Up With Willow Bark

Searingly hot afternoons don’t mean you have to abandon a face moisturizer. Move away from all those oily creams and moisturizers and settle for a light formula instead. Look for a face cream with willow bark if acne easily haunts you. This powerhouse ingredient alleviates excessive sebum secretion and prevents clogging of pores, eventually saving you from breakouts. Its anti-inflammatory properties soothe out irritation and redness. Use willow bark face cream and team it with a good face wash for acne-prone skin. Gen-Z buddies with oily skin can try Super Acne Face Cream that subtly hydrates the oily/acne-prone skin without making it oily.

Step #4: Protect With SPF

Aging often gets blamed when it comes to wrinkles or pigmentation on the face. In reality, aging combined with long-term sunlight exposure damages the skin by suppressing the skin’s immune system. And what if you are just a teen or tween with fine lines that appeared out of nowhere? Again, the fact remains the same! So,  save your skin from sun damage by protecting it with suitable SPF. Dermatologists recommend SPF of 30 or higher to shield your skin from premature aging, tanning, and sunburn. Choose a gel-based formula and wear it multiple times a day for subtle protection, even if you are sitting inside and keeping up with your Zoom lectures. Don’t forget to first cleanse your face with an organic face wash for men or women prior to sunscreen application.

Don’t Forget To Exfoliate!

Whether it’s the renewal of fresh skin or increasing the effectiveness of skincare actives, the reasons to exfoliate your skin stay undisputed. And if you have oily skin, exfoliation becomes paramount. Get a scrub that can gently exfoliate your skin and purge dead cells. A DIY scrub with activated charcoal powder and sugar is a good way to exfoliate while keeping unwanted oil at bay. You can also use coffee and honey scrub or sea salt and lemon juice scrub.

And Spot-Treatments Are A Must!

Crystal clear skin can’t be achieved overnight. Cleaning and moisturizing your skin rightly along with regular spot treatments (depending on your skin afflictions) will help you get healthy and clear skin sooner or later. Speaking of spot treatments, use an anti-acne face cream to cure acne and prevent further breakouts. Use Super Acne Face Cream from Super Smelly as this toxin-free formulation perfectly balances oil and hydration. While green tea extract and tea tree oil in the cream dismiss acne-causing bacteria, willow bark extract soothes irritated skin. Also, the goodness of Pro-Vitamin B5 heals acne scars in no time. Use it in combination with a good face wash for acne and a natural face pack for acne to get the best results in a jiffy!

Other Tips To Deal With Oily/Acne-Prone Skin

  • Wash your face with a suitable face wash 3-4 times a day, especially in the morning, at night, and after a physical workout.
  • Breathe in new life to your oily or acne-prone skin with the best natural face pack prepared with ingredients like neem, turmeric, aloe gel, and tea tree oil. Use Acne Warrior Oil Control Face Pack which’s a perfect amalgam of these ingredients.
  • A combo of green clay, Dead Sea salt, and apricot oil is also an effective face pack for oily skin.
  • Pay extra attention to the T-zone that tends to get oily easily. If the rest of your face feels dry, use a face wash for dry skin to clean dry areas.
  • Stay makeup-free if you can. (Don’ worry, you will still look good in your virtual classes!)
  • Use ice cubes to shrink large-looking pores.
  • Hydrate your skin and reduce acne spots by drinking lots of water.
  • And lastly, don’t forget to meditate to clear up those zits.
